Earnest "Skillet" Cavin, 63, of the Iowa Veterans Home, died on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, while under their care. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at 12 p.m. at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
