Jeremy and Valerie Corson, of Melbourne, are the parents of a son, Brayden Eric Corson, born at 8:10 a.m. Feb. 4 at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. Brayden join brother Alexander, 4. Grandparents are Jim and Lori Ricken, of Haverhill and JR and Bobbie Corson, of Hubbard.

Tessa Rundall and Dustin Adams, of Marshalltown, are the parents of son, Liam Michael Adams, born at 7:17 p.m. Feb. 7 at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center weighing 7.7 ounces and measuring 21 inches long. Grandparents are Kirk and Roberta Rundall, of Marshalltown, and Jeff Adams and Mindy Lybarger, of Mason City.

Shane and Shaybree Goshon are the parents of a son, Saxyn Lynk Goshon, born at 12:21 p.m. on Feb. 4 at Mary Greely Medical Center, weighing 9 pounds 10 ounces and measuring 21.5 inches long. Welcoming Saxyn home is big sister Savea. Grandparents are Kevin and Shelly Lynk, of Marshalltown, Dave Pille and Nancy Hulsizer, of Marshalltown and Jeff and Sherry Goshon, of Dunbar. Great-Grandparents are Donald and Barb Lynk, of Marshalltown, Shirley Karns, of Marshalltown and Richard and Denise Goshon, of Marshalltown.

Victoria Dawn Martin, 12 N. 10th St., made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. She pleaded guilty and was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195, due immediately.

Ryan David Fogt, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a traffic control device charge and a driving under suspension charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. On the failure to obey a traffic control device charge the fine was $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195, due immediately. The fine on the driving under suspension charge was $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due immediately.

Oscar Romeo Perez Coronado, of Springfield, Mo., made an initial appearance on a dark windows charge and a failure to have a valid driver's license charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. On the dark windows charge the fine was $50 with a $17.50 surcharge, a $5 county enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $132.50, due immediately. The fine on the failure to have a valid driver's license was $200 with a $70 surcharge, a $5 county enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $335, due immediately. The court allowed for monthly installment payments of $50 beginning March 19 until the debts are paid.

Linda Rin, 2552 Smith Ave. Lot #66, made an initial appearance on a burglary-second degree charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on March 12. She was released through the Department of Correctional Services.

Fernando Carrillo-Robles, 611 E. South St. Apt. B-12, made an initial appearance on a probation revocation charge, an aggravated assault charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a driving under suspension charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. On the aggravated assault charge, the possession of drug paraphernalia charge and the driving under suspension charge the preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on March 4. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11:15 a.m. on March 6. Bond on all charges is $3,300 cash. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Jacob Catherwood, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a operation without registration charge. He pleaded guilty to the driving under suspension charge and was fined $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due immediately. He pleaded not guilty on the operation without registration charge and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on March 26 in Magistrate Court. He will represent himself in this case. Catherwood was released on his own recognizance.

Leandra Larae Haughey, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a warrant for probation revocation. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her case. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court as their docket permits. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Incidents

On Feb. 16, Bryon Jay Bessman, 1610 Zeller Ave., reported hit and run damage to a field fence and a gate at 3100 Garwin Rd. Estimated value of damage was $300.

On Feb. 14, Robert Franklin Schelp, of Gilman, reported the theft of a Taurus Judge revolver and Taurus pistol case, a Winchester 45LC ammunition, Winchester shot shell .410, a Microsoft XBox 360 game system with controllers, an XBox 360 game and miscellaneous change from 2853 320th St., Gilman. Estimated value of loss was $935.

Arrests

On Feb. 16, Jacob Ryan Mayer, of Haverhill, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, driving under suspension, failure to wear a safety belt and no insurance.

On Feb. 16, Mary Elizabeth Icel Wilson, 3167 Quarry Rd., was arrested for failure to appear.

On Feb. 16, Michaelene Estelle Butler, of Tama, was arrested for driving under the influence.

On Feb. 15, Tiffany Marie Floyd, address unknown, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

On Feb. 14, Timothy Michael Nelsen, of Albion, was arrested for theft-fourth degree.

On Feb. 11, Melissa Rose Harris, of Eldora, was arrested for driving while revoked, driving under suspension and no insurance.

On Wednesday, Sedrick Nathan Keahna, of Tama, was arrested for failure to appear on a possession of a controlled substance charge.

On Wednesday, Jessica Lynn Forkner, of Nevada, was arrested for driving under the influence.

On Sunday, Paul James Hopkins, 924 N. 5th Ave., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while barred.

On Feb. 15, Marvin J. Conner II, of Laurel, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender.

On Feb. 8, Hector Lizarde-Garcia, was arrested for driving while suspended, no valid driver's license and failure to prove security against liability.

Accidents

On Feb. 14, a vehicle pulling an enclosed cargo trailer driven by Richard Joseph Stichter, 702 Westwood Dr., was northbound on Highway 14 when the receiver hitch broke separating the two units causing the trailer to leave the traveled portion of the road, enter the east ditch and overturn. No injuries were reported. Damage to the trailer was estimated at $7,500.
