Stalzer earns top portrait award

John Stalzer of Stalzer Photography in Marshalltown was recently awarded the Frank W. Medlar Trophy at the Professional Photographer's of Iowa Winter Convention & Print Competition held Feb 811 in Des Moines.

The Medlar is Awarded for the Best Portrait Exhibited at the PP of Iowa Convention. It also placed first in the Masters of Photography Groups Category.

The portrait was of Phil and Judy Lander of rural Marshalltown grandkid's titled "Grandma's Perfect Ten" Also the kids of Dave and Jennifer (Lander) Vawter, of State Center, Martin and Katie (Lander) Downs, of Marshalltown, and Murray and Amy (Lander) Williams, of Des Moines.
