Marshall County Farm Bureau sponsors free ag seminar

Mark Licht, ISU Extension field agronomist, and Steve Johnson, ISU Extension farm management specialist, will join forces and present an educational ag seminar entitled "What Happens Now?" on March 18.

Marshall County Farm Bureau is sponsoring the free event, which will take place at the Marshall County Extension office. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. with the program to follow at 1 p.m.

Licht will discuss current drought conditions and the challenges that farmers will probably be facing this spring as well as throughout the growing season. Johnson will offer advice about crop marketing and risk management for the coming year.

Please call the Marshall County Farm Bureau office at 641-753-6637 by 4 p.m. on March 15 to register for lunch and the seminar.
