AMES - After a breakout season for the Cyclones, Iowa State junior Hallie Christofferson is now an All-American.

The former Exira High School standout averaged 15.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game this past season and was named an honorable mention all-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Christofferson was one of four players unanimously selected to the all-Big 12 first team after making 51 percent of her shots from the floor, 40 percent from 3-poin range and 86 percent from the line.

She scored in double figures in 28 of the Cyclones' 33 games, reaching the 20-point plateau 11 times.

Christofferson was named honorable mention all-American by The Associated Press last week as well.
