Larinda Fouts, 711 E. Linn St. Apt. #2, made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order charge and a felony domestic abuse charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her cases. The preliminary hearing on the domestic abuse charge is set for 1 p.m. on April 26. The contempt hearing is set for 3 p.m. on April 29. The court ordered that if she possesses any firearms or ammunition she is to contact the Marshall County Sheriff's Office within 24 hours to make arrangements to surrender them pending the conclusion of this case. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only on each charge for a total of $10,000 cash only. No-contact orders were issued for the protected parties.

Shakeria Slade, 3700 S. Center St., made an initial appearance on a serious assault causing bodily injury charge and a disorderly conduct charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on May 6. Slade was released through the Department of Correctional Services and is to check in at the adult probation office within 24 hours. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Adam Lee Barger, of Melbourne, made an initial appearance on a serious domestic assault charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on May 6. Barger was released through the Department of Correctional Services and is to check in at the adult probation office within 24 hours. The court ordered that if he possessed any firearms or ammunition Barger is to make arrangements within 24 hours with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office to surrender them until the conclusion of this case. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Richard James Dolan III, 1906 Summit St., made an initial appearance on a serious domestic assault charge and a violation of a no-contact order charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on April 16. The court ordered that if he possessed any firearms or ammunition Dolan is to make arrangements within 24 hours with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office to surrender them pending the duration of this case. Bond is set at $1,000 cash for each count or $2,000 cash total. A no-contact was issued for the protected party.

Kisha Christine Amundson, 702 1/2 W. Boone St. Apt. B, made an initial appearance on a harassment-third degree charge. The court appointed Merrill Swartz to represent her in this case. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on May 21 in Magistrate Court. Amundson was released on her own recognizance. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Maurice Lamont Turner, 401 1/2 Park St., made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on May 6.

Tiatwas J. Waites, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a probation revocation request. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The scheduling hearing is set for 1 p.m. on April 22. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only.

Samuel Montes Durzo, 210 N. 13th Ave., made an initial appearance on a domestic assault-strangulation charge and two counts of a child endangerment charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on April 24. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Alex Michael Heinrichs, 201 W. Ferner St., made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. He pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on May 14 in Magistrate Court.

Kyler N. Zatovich, 1204 Fairway Dr. Apt. #4, made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $100 with a $160 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $320, due within 30 days.

Joseph Wayne Alday, 1420 W. Linn St., made an initial appearance on a serious domestic assault charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on May 3. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Michael Dale Corwin, 10 1/2 W. Grant St., made an initial appearance on a possession of a Schedule I controlled substance charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The scheduling hearing is set for 1 p.m. on May 3. Corwin was released with supervision and is to appear at the Department of Correctional services-adult probation office within 72 hours.
