Arrests

On Saturday, Clifford James Davis, 206 Nicholas Drive Apt. #36, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Saturday, Bonnie Ann Putter, 1407 S. 17th Ave. Halfway House, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

On Saturday, Veeta Nayou, 406 Melody Lane Apt. #4, was arrested for interference with official acts.

On Saturday, Detria Gully, 403 E. Southridge Road Apt. C, was arrested for interference with official acts.

On Saturday, Audrey Rose Youngbear, of Tama, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Saturday, Michael James Hoffpauir, 501 W. Church St., was arrested for interference with official acts and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance-meth with the intent to deliver.

On Saturday, Holly Ann Wright, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Friday, Matthew Anthony Leavy, 306 N. 15th Ave., was arrested for eluding and driving while barred.

On Friday, Blake Thomas, 429 Swayze St., was arrested for serious assault, possession of contraband and harassment-second degree.

On Friday, Cedano Thomas, 515 N. Center St., was arrested for two counts of simple assault and serious assault.

On Friday, Gabriell Rae Morrow, 205 N. 6th St., was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana.

On Friday, Michael Allen Earhart, address unknown, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.

On Friday, Ryan Douglas Edwards, 1012 E. Main St., was arrested for theft-fifth degree from Walmart.

Accidents

On Sunday, a minivan driven by Linnette Lou Tuttle, 2428 233rd St., was northbound on the curve on 12th Street when it went out of control on the 100 percent snow covered road while entering the bridge and struck the west side. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Tuttle minivan was estimated at $3,500.

On Saturday, a pickup driven by Ali Brianna Leavy, 1215 E. Boone St., was westbound on State Street, failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection with 13th Street and attempted to turn south onto 13th Street where it struck a legally parked car. No injuries were reported. Leavy was cited for striking unattended vehicle and failure to obey a stop or yield sign. Damage to the legally parked car was estimated at $4,000.

On Friday, an as yet unknown vehicle and driver came westbound through the South Center Street intersection on West Southridge Road and collided with a vehicle driven by Carolyn Jamie Reed, 2642 250th St., and continued traveling west without stopping. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Reed vehicle was estimated at $1,500.

On Friday, a car driven by Jessica Marie Bear, of Laurel, was eastbound on East Lincoln Street stopped at the intersection with North Third Avenue and proceeded to turn left onto Third Avenue when it collided with a car driven by Winston Luke Mulder, 2848 197th St., which was traveling south on Third Avenue. Bear was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries. Damage to the Bear car was estimated at $2,500 while the Mulder car received an estimated $2,000 in damage.
