Youth in grades first through third can participate on June 4 in a half day camp to explore healthy living.
Participants will learn about healthy activities, how their five senses are used and participate in a scientific experiment to determine what fruits are made of. The event will take place at the Marshall County Extension Office. This opportunity is sponsored, in part, by PEERS (Partnership for Engineering Educational Resources for Schools) program through the governor's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Scale-Up Initiative.
To participate, complete the registration form by May 30 www.extension.iastate.edu/boone/. Maximum registration is 20 youth.
