Coming off one of the best seasons in program history, the Marshalltown boys' soccer team had two juniors attain all-state honors.
Martin Chavarria earned a spot on the Class 3A all-state second team and Agustin Ortiz claimed honorable mention.
Chavarria, a forward, was one of Class 3A's most prolific scorers with 19 goals and nine assists. Ortiz headlined the Bobcats' defense as MHS finished the year at 16-3 and one win shy of the state tournament.
Chavarria and Ortiz both earned nods to the all-Central Iowa Conference team along with junior goalkeeper Kreighton Miller. David Gomez made the second team after tallying 10 goals and six assists. The junior is one of seven starters returning for the Bobcats in 2014.
Ellis Buchwald joined Chavarria, Ortiz and Miller on the all-CIC Northern Division first team, while Eli Devine, David Gomez and Mi Reh made the second team. Trevor Fuccio, Jose Cordova, Alfonso Gonzalez and Austin Lovin all attained honorable mention.
