I read with some humor Rev. Thoreson's view "Tambrino needs a science book." While I totally agree the idea of dinosaurs and men living together is ridiculous, I find it hard to believe a reverend has not heard of the Creationist view that the Earth is some 6,000 years old. This is not a new idea. Rev. Thoreson should plan a trip to the Creation Museum in Kentucky and witness some of the displays that feature children and dinosaurs playing together. As for myself, I'll stay on the side of science and believe Earth to be about 4.5 billion years old, and that the dinosaurs became extinct some 65 million years before man crawled out of the swamp. I will also believe the Flintstones was just a cartoon not an animated documentary. Yabadabadoo.
