I have met plenty of people over the years and I'm becoming quite the expert at pinpointing a person's personality just by using his/her name. Or so I think.
So I've decided to share what I've learned and the reaction I feel when I hear a name.
Let me say these names are not based on anyone I know locally - so please don't call me on this one.
I'm not the brightest person out there but I know enough not to write about anyone locally.
This information is compiled from years of knowing other people with these names. Let me repeat, they are not about you if you are reading this.
Todd - These guys are a little different but they are pretty dependable. Todds are good to have around for a sidekick.
Trisha - Unpredictable and almost too confident for their own good.
Sharon - These people are pretty steady. Sharons aren't usually late to anything.
Candace - Cool women who think they are a step cooler than they actually are.
George - A fun name to say. Georges usually have pretty good senses of humor. They have to because sometimes people smile just by saying "GEOORRGE!" Georges usually grow beards or other type of facial hair after the age of 40.
Karen - Such a serene name - but watch out - they can be wilder than they seem sometimes. Karens can get away with things since people think they are sweet.
Steve - Usually the critical-thinking, intellectual type. They are usually pretty good guys and have intelligent things to say unless they end up becoming a congressman from Iowa. Then, who knows what will come out of their mouths.
Paul - Much like Todds, Pauls are usually reliable. They don't have much of an edge to them, but they are fine with being like that.
Brian - This is the most unpredictable name in the books. One Brian can be subdued and one can be over the top. One of the hardest names in the books to judge since there are so many Brians out there and they are vastly different.
Chad - Chads like to be the center of attention sometimes, but they mean well.
Andrew - Well, only the handsomest, smartest people in the entire world are named this. But then, you already knew that....
