ROCHESTER, N.Y. Marshalltown native Jeff Clement continued his proficiency at the plate with his second straight multi-hit game though this time it came in defeat.

After Saturday's five-RBI performance led the Rochester Red Wings to victory in 12 innings, the former Bobcat hit 2-for-5, with a pair of run-scoring singles as Rochester lost a 5-4 decision to the Syracuse Chiefs Sunday at Frontier Field.

Clement raised his season RBI total to 56 second on the team, while bumping his batting average to .208. In 98 games with the Minnesota Twins Triple-A affiliate, Clement has 74 hits and ranks second on the Red Wings in doubles (16), home runs (14) and total bases (132).

The Red Wings (63-54) remain atop the International League North with a two-game lead over the Pawtucket PawSox (60-55).
