The Big Ten and Southeastern Conferences will be a part of nine nationally televised "Super Tuesday" basketball doubleheaders this coming season, according to ESPN.
ESPN will air doubleheaders from both leagues on Tuesdays during the month of January and February and also once on March 4.
Included in this national television spotlight will be the Iowa Hawkeyes, ranked 25th in ESPN.com's preseason poll, who will be featured three times against ranked Big Ten Conference foes.
The Hawkeyes will be at home for two of the three nationally televised games. The first matchup is the opener of a doubleheader on Jan. 28, 2014, against No. 3 Michigan State. The nightcap will feature top-ranked Kentucky at LSU.
Iowa finds itself in another marquee matchup on Feb. 4, 2014, when No. 8 Ohio State visits Carver-Hawkeye Arena in the opener of a doubleheader. The second game of the day pits Missouri against No. 7 Florida.
