Teddi Wagner, the 16-year-old Marshalltown girl who was previously missing from her home, was located in Urbandale Thursday.
It is believed Wagner ran away and was missing for nearly two weeks. She has medical conditions which had her parents, Julie and Randy Wagner, on edge.
She was safe and in good condition Thursday.
"I'm very happy she's been found," Randy Wagner said Thursday afternoon as he was driving to Urbandale to get his daughter. "At least she's safe and alive."
Wagner was believed to be staying with friends in the Des Moines area and turned herself into Urbandale Police Thursday, said Marshalltown Police Chief Mike Tupper.
"We're obviously very happy that she's been located and she's in good condition," Tupper said.
Wagner has a history of running away but never for this length of time. She has spent time in psychiatric care in the past and her mother said she has an impulse to run away.
Tupper said police will work to try to get Wagner the help she needs.
He said their investigation on this case will continue.
"We're glad that she's OK," Tupper said.
