A jury trial has been set for a Marshalltown couple accused of keeping $13,500 wrongfully placed in their bank account.

Michael Anthony, 43, and his wife, Kelly Anthony, 34, were charged with second-degree theft, a Class D felony, in February after the accounting error was noticed by Lennox Employees Credit Union.

The bank contacted the couple notifying them of the error, according to police. However, they proceeded to make withdrawals and spend the money. The couple entered a not guilty plea in March.
