Jessie Harmon, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with throwing missiles. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75 plus extra costs for serving the warrant. In lieu of the fine and surcharge Harmon may do 12 hours of community service plus pay all other court costs to be completed by Jan. 15, 2014.

Seamus M. Kaye, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a warrant for failure to appear for a sentencing hearing and a warrant charging him with pre-trial release violations. The public defender's office was appointed to his case. The District Court will reschedule the sentencing hearing as its docket permits. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Michael Louis Hilleman, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated-first offense charge and a failure to stop within a assured, clear distance charge. Hilleman will hire his own attorney. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Sept. 30. Hilleman was released on his own recognizance with the only condition being that he obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days of today's date.

Jerry Oden, 308 Woodbury St., made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated-second or subsequent charge, a driving while barred charge, an open container charge and a failure to yield to an emergency vehicle charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Sept. 30. Bond will continue as posted. The court ordered that Oden obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days of today's date.

Chad Sawyer, of Gilman, made an initial appearance on a warrant for failure to appear for a pre-trial conference. Jennie Wilson-Moore will continue as counsel. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 with a jury trial rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Oct. 10.

Tyler James Oleson, 1312 W. Main St., made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated charge, an aggravated assault charge, a criminal mischief-second degree charge and a eluding charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Sept. 18. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.
