Geneva Louks, 95, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Southridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Graveside services for Geneva will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown, Iowa. Geneva Wallace was born on March 17, 1918, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Lois Grahm Wallace. She was raised and educated in the Marshalltown School District graduating from Marshalltown High School. On September 28, 1934 she was united in marriage to Robert Louks in Cedar Rapids. Geneva was a member of the World Wildlife Federation, National Rifle Association and Coast to Coast. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, trips to the lake in Montezuma, and just alone time reading as her favorite author was Danielle Steel.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Bobette Garrington, Pam Bollhoefer, Penny Youngblood, Gordon Louks and Twink Harre. She is also survived by many grandchildren and many many great grandchildren.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband Robert; both parents, daughter Sharon Dillman and two brothers.
