Levi Byers and Laura Arkley are the parents of a son, Isaac Chase Byers, born on July 19 at the Mother Baby Center in Minneapolis, Minn., weighing 4 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 19 inches in length. Grandparents are Rich and Rita Byers, of Marshalltown, and Stewart Arkley, of Apple Valley, Minn.

Doug and Jade Stull, of Minneapolis, Minn., are the parents of a daughter, Paige Phyllis Stull, born on Aug. 26 weighing 5 pounds, 11 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches in length. Grandparents are Don and Patty Stull, of Marshalltown, Dr. Larry and Lori Baker, of Urbandale, and Robert Baker, of Hampton. Great grandmother is Helen Baker, of Johnston.

Renee Mason, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for trial on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge, a operation without registration charge, a improper use of registration charge and a no valid driver's license charge. The trial was reset for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 8 in Magistrate Court.

Incidents

On Thursday, Janet Marie Graves, 705 Fremont St., reported the theft of cash in the amount of $307 through a phone scam using Microsoft errors and warranty issues to access a person's computer remotely and defraud them of money.

Arrests

On Thursday, Jose Cisneros, 407 1/2 E. Boone St., was arrested for child endangerment without injury and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance-cocaine.

On Wednesday, Darrell Demetris Glass, 303 S. Fourth Ave. Apt. #3, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

On Wednesday, Tonyika Shantel Lewis, 303 S. Fourth Ave. Apt. #3, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Accidents

On Sept. 18, a vehicle driven by Edward Joseph McGivern, of Keystone, was southbound on Highland Acres Road when it attempted to turn left into a private driveway in front of a pickup driven by Ronald Eugene Eason, of Eldora, which was traveling north on Highland Acres Road. The Eason pickup swerved into the ditch to avoid striking McGivern, but the McGivern vehicle collided with the Eason pickup. No injuries were reported. Damage to the McGivern vehicle was estimated at $2,000 while the Eason pickup received an estimated $500 in damage.
