Memorial tree relocated to Fisher Elmentary

October 4, 2013
Times-Republican

Lonnie Hogeland and his son planted an evergreen tree in front of Hogeland Auto Plaza before Lonnie Jr. passed away in 1998. A few weeks ago the tree found a new home at a place once familiar to Lonnie Jr. - Fisher Elementary. Hogeland Sr. wanted the students at Fisher to enjoy the tree, saying the school was very kind and caring to his son and family. The tree was transplanted one recent weekend with the help of Mike Ballhagen of Trees-to-Go.
