Maricela K. Rodriguez-Muratella, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on Nov. 26 in Magistrate Court.

Vincent Michael Gassman, 418 N. Ninth St., made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days of today's date.

Eduardo Ordaz Contreras, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days of today's date.

Incidents

On Thursday, Steph Tietje, 215 N. 11th Ave., reported hit and run damage to the front passenger side quarter panel on a 2005 Chevy 300C while parked behind the Center Street Station. Estimated value of damage was $1,000.

On Oct. 14, a car driven by Nicholas Anthony Viola, of State Center, was southbound on Third Avenue SW in State Center attempting to turn left onto Fourth Street SW when it turned in the path of a pickup driven by James Alan Thornbury, of State Center, and the two vehicles collided in the intersection. Viola complained of pain in the chest area from the seatbelt, however, he refused treatment that was on the scene. Viola was cited for driving without a license. Damage to the Viola car was estimated at $1,500 while the Thornbury pickup received an estimated $3,200 in damage.
