Hillers completes national trust school
Abigail Hillers, trust officer at United Bank & Trust, recently completed the American Bankers Association (ABA) National Trust School in Atlanta, a curriculum for in the trust industry.
"This is a highly respected professional school and we are confident Hillers will use this program to supplement her legal background to be an even stronger trust and asset manager," said Curt Hoff, bank president.
ABA Trust Schools are America's most renowned schools for trust professionals. The program provides a solid foundation and thorough overview of trust topics. The performance based curriculum, taught by a prestigious group of trust experts, stresses fundamental concepts of trust administration planning options and solutions to client's concerns.
"I gained valuable insights on issues that affect my business, and I can now explore new ways to enrich the relationships with my clients and help them achieve their goals," Hillers said.
Hillers obtained her BA from Iowa State University, and her Master's and JD degree from Valparaiso University. Hillers practiced law for three years, specializing in estate planning and probate, as well as bankruptcies. She is a member of Marshalltown Rotary, Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) and currently serves on the MMSC Foundation board. Hillers joined United Bank & Trust in March 2013 as a trust officer.
Bernhardt names new Assistant National Accounts Manager
CGB-Diversified Crop Insurance Services is pleased to announce that due to growth, a new Assistant National Accounts Manager, Dan Bernhardt, has joined the team.
Bernhardt will be responsible for maintaining current relationships with agents as well as developing new business in the Western and Upper Midwest regions.
In just under 20 years, Bernhardt has acquired a tremendous amount of crop insurance experience ranging from claims adjusting to sales consulting and mapping processes and development. His passion for technology drives him to pursue new and improved processes to better service his agents and farming customers. Bernhardt's expertise in mapping will provide improved accuracy, quality, and service to our customers with their mapping needs.
