Arrests

On Oct. 30, Tomas Joseph Eppler, of Dubuque, was arrested for failure to serve a 60-day sentence.

On Oct. 30, Dalton Eugene Youngbear, of Toledo, was arrested for possession with the intent to deliver and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.

On Oct. 30, Jay Shannon Bear Jr., of Tama, was arrested for possession with the intent to deliver, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, operating while intoxicated-first offense and failure to display registration plate.

On Sunday, Randall John Clemens, of Haverhill, was arrested for aggravated domestic assault.

On Sunday, Seamus Mickell Kaye, 3202 S. 12th St. Lot #16, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance-enhanced, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, no driver's license, no insurance, harassment of a public officer and obstructing prosecution.

On Nov. 1, Jessica Alexandra Acosta, 1118 May St., was arrested for tampering with records and providing false identification information.

On Nov. 1, Daniel Josue Enriquez, 412 N. Fourth St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense, no driver's license and open container.

On Nov. 1, David Michael Stephen Bloomer, of Mount Pleasant, was arrested for violation of pre-trial release.

On Nov. 1, Ryan William Kinshaw, of Eldora, was arrested for contempt of court.

On Oct. 31, Jaime Alvarado Rodriguez, 704 E. Main St., was arrested for harassment of a public officer and failure to maintain safety belts.

On Oct. 30, Juan Francisco Ascencio, of Le Grand, was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense and failure to maintain control.

Accidents

On Monday, a minivan driven by Natasha Paige Klar, 512 W. Nevada St., was northbound on Sanford Avenue when it struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Klar minivan was estimated at $2,500.

On Sunday, a car driven by Robert John Lawrence, of Des Moines, was southbound on Highway 330 when it struck something in the roadway on the passenger side. Upon investigation, the damage was consistent with the striking of a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Lawrence car was estimated at $1,500.

On Sunday, a car driven by Jack Donald Carkhuff, 2504 Hilltop Drive, was northbound on Highway 14 when it struck a deer that entered the traveled portion of the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Carkhuff car was estimated at $3,000.

On Saturday, a vehicle driven by Curtis Ray Close, of Ankeny, was southbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer causing front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Close vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

Marshalltown Fire Department

Sunday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a building fire at 107 N. 11th St., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 306 W. Summit St., 603 N. Second Ave., and 805 W. Linn St.

Saturday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims from a vehicle at 1800 240th St., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 10 N. Fourth St., 706 Ratcliffe Drive, 308 N. First St., and 903 S. Second Ave.

Nov. 1

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a brush or brush-grass mixture fire at 505 E. Boone St., a detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 110 College Drive, an alarm system activation-no fire-unintentional at 209 E. Main St., a carbon monoxide incident at 103 W. Meadow Lane, and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 710 1/2 E. State St., 1027 S. Eighth Ave., 2510 S. Sixth St., and 402 N. 10th Ave.

Oct. 31

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1401 S. Seventh Ave., 3202 S. 12th St., 1702 S. 12th Ave., 1108 W. Iowa Ave., 2510 S. Sixth St., 406 E. South St., and 609 E. Main St.
