Highway 330 collision traps two

A collision involving two vehicles east of Albion Friday afternoon trapped two people in separate vehicles.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Highway 330 at approximately 3:30 p.m.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, the crash resulted in one driver trapped inside a burning vehicle and the driver of a second vehicle also trapped.

In addition to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, the Albion Fire Department was also on scene.

All gravel and hard-surface roadways leading to the site were blocked by authorities, including access to 330 from Highway 14. No further details were released by press time.
