Zeke and Dani Miller, of Wausau, Wis., are the parents of a son, Josiah George Miller, born at 11:38 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, Wis., weighing 8 pounds and measuring 19 inches in length. Grandparents are Bob and Beth Lotz, of Wausau, Wis., and Lorin and Diana Miller, of Marshalltown.

Kurt and Jessica Elliff, of Ballwin, Mo., are the parents of a daughter, Payton Julie Elliff, born at 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. Grandparents are John and Julie Hickey, of Columbia, Mo., and Dave and Kathy Elliff, of Marshalltown.

Incidents

On Tuesday, Francisco Barajas Jr., 106 S. Fifth St., reported hit and run damage to the passenger side corner of the rear bumper on a 2002 Ford Escort while at 916 E. Main St. Estimated value of damage was $500.

On Tuesday, Michael Ray Jacobs, 1103 E. Anson St., reported suspicious fire damage to a 1998 Ford F150 pickup while parked at his residence. Estimated value of damage was $3,000.

On Tuesday, Daniel Arthur Myers, 2709 Arnold Drive, reported hit and run damage to the front passenger side corner of a 2007 Chevy HHR while at 600 Lincoln Way. Estimated value of damage was $3,000.

On Tuesday, a person associated with Housing Urban Development, of Layton, Utah, reported damage to the south-side front door, the living room closet door and a inner bedroom window at 1613 Fremont St. Estimated value of damage was $400.

On Thursday, George B. Dixon, 2216 Edgebrook Drive, reported damage to a garage door and the rear window on a vehicle in the garage in an attempt to steal the vehicle. Estimated value of damage was $1,800.

On Wednesday, an employee with LBO Investments, 19 1/2 S. Center St., reported someone removing the coin box off the laundry room wall. Estimated value of loss was $300.

On Wednesday, an employee at Family Dollar, 329 S. Third Ave., reported damage to the glass front door at the business. Estimated value of damage was $500.

On Wednesday, Jay Lawrence Carillo, 1010 Summit St., reported damage to a 12x14 glass pane window and a 36x48 glass window at his residence. Estimated value of damage was $800.

On Monday, Kendra A. Fowler, 216 S. 18th St., was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Nov. 11, Melvin Guy Hoffman Jr., 206 Nicholas Drive Apt. #22, was cited for aiding and abetting criminal mischief-fourth degree.

On Tuesday, Ronald Lee Daniel, 107 E. Lincoln St., was arrested for theft-fifth degree.

On Monday, Matthew Scott Hazelwood, address unknown, was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana.

On Nov. 11, Daniel Leroy Campbell, address unknown, was arrested for criminal mischief-fourth degree.

On Thursday, Kyle Logan Andrews, 2202 Bittersweet Road, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Wednesday, Jorge Luis Nunez-Garcia, 114 Crestview Drive, was arrested for child endangerment without injury and operating while intoxicated drugged-first offense.

On Wednesday, Justin Lee Smith, 908 E. Anson St., was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana.

On Wednesday, Kolton Craig Bolar, 605 Walters Circle, was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana and spitting in a police vehicle.

On Wednesday, Steven Michael Emery, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana.

On Wednesday, Lisa marie Jones, 613 W. Main St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

On Wednesday, Jessie Pryce Calvert, of Montour, was arrested on two counts of violation of a no-contact order and serious assault.

On Wednesday, Tyler Jay Pollock, 201 N. Third St., was arrested for harassment-first degree and carrying weapons.

Sunday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 405 E. Linn St., an alarm system activation-no fire-unintentional at 2500 S. Center St., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 206 Nicholas Drive, 1602 Lincoln Way, 301 Sunset Lane, and 313 S. 18th Ave.

Saturday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a gas leak at 1702 S. Fourth St., a passenger vehicle fire at 2805 S. Center St., a motor vehicle accident with injuries on West Church Street and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 202 N. Second Ave., 36 W. Main St., 912 Stegman Blvd., 709 Summit St., and 209 E. Main St.

Friday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 202 N. Second Ave., 106 W. Lincoln St., and 3120 S. Second St.

Thursday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims on South Sixth Street, a passenger vehicle fire at 906 Highland Acres Road, a malicious, mischievous false call at 106 College Drive, and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 3402 S. Center St., 16 E. Main St., and 206 Nicholas Drive.

Arrests

On Tuesday, Christina Mae Althaus, of Laurel, was arrested for serious assault and obstruction of emergency communications.

On Nov. 22, Jacob Robert Clair, of Colo, was arrested for ongoing criminal conduct, three counts of burglary-second degree and introducing contraband to a correctional facility.

On Nov. 21, Leandra Larae Haughey, 713 N. Fourth Ave. Apt. #2, was arrested for violation of probation.

On Nov. 17, Hernandez Gustavo Diaz, of Waterloo, was arrested for driving under the influence, operation without registration, no valid driver's license and failure to maintain control.

Accidents

On Nov. 22, a pickup driven by Michael Clinton Graff, of Toledo, was westbound on Strait Street following Highway 146 north in Gilman when it continued west on Strait Street leaving Highway 146 into the path of a car driven by Michael Edward Ferrin, 1601 W. Lincoln Way, which was traveling south on Highway 146 and a collision occurred. No injuries were reported. Graff was cited for failure to yield right of way upon left turn. Damage to the Graff pickup was estimated at $1,000 while the Ferrin car received an estimated $2,000 in damage.
