Sarah Pierce doesn't like to waste time in school. She is there to learn.

"She's always asking 'what can I do next?'" said Peg Davis, her fifth grade teacher at St. Francis Catholic School. "She is always seeking more to do and she is quite helpful."

Pierce, 11, said she knows the importance of getting a good education.
