Per the library's move license, the title of the is required to be withheld. A description will help clue people in on what movie will be playing.
The film is a drama from 1983 that tells the true story of the Navy, Marine and Air Force test pilots who broke the speed barrier as well as the story of the seven military pilots who were selected for the first manned space flight. Based the best selling book by Tom Wolfe, our film stars Sam Shepard, Scott Glenn, Ed Harris, Dennis Quaid and Fred Ward as the brave test pilots and astronauts. Barbara Hershey, Veronica Cartwright and Pamela Reed play their supportive wives. This month's selection is thrilling, funny, charming and electrifying all at once as you cheer these brave men on their space race with the Soviet Union.
