Starbucks manager becomes Coffee Master

After studying for three months about everything Starbucks related, Erin Dehl, manager of Starbucks in Hy-Vee, received Coffee Master certification from Starbucks.
With her new certification from Starbucks corporate, she has expertise on what foods to pair coffee with to enhance the flavor, origins of different blends, roasting, the growing procedure and everything Starbucks related.
“It’s awesome,” Dehl said. “I’m a little obsessed with it, I’m passionate about it and I want to create other coffee snobs.” Once she was certified by Starbucks corporate she traded in her green apron for a black one.
“You can only have a black apron if you are a coffee master in Starbucks,” Dehl said. “I think there are only three to four people who are certified coffee masters within Hy-Vee so that’s kind of a big deal.”
