Colleen Ashly Dolan, 1906 Summit St., made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days of today's date.

On Monday, Robert B. Beard, 1204 S. Third Ave., reported damage to the sod in his yard and damage to tires and the front undercarriage on a 2003 Nissan Maxima while parked at his residence. Estimated value of damage was $950.
On Sunday, Latoya Hamilton, 402 Washington St., reported puncture damage to two passenger side tires on a 2002 Dodge Caravan while parked at her residence. Estimated value of damage was $180.
On Friday, Juanita Rodriguez, 1010 S. Sixth St., reported the theft of a Weed Eater from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $300.
On May 21, Tyler Jay Pollock, 105 N. Center St. Apt. #20, was cited for theft-fifth degree.
On Monday, Alberto Garcia, address unknown, was arrested for theft-fifth degree from Jiffy Mart, 111 S. Third Ave.

On Monday, a car driven by Chris Allen Keeler, 1507 W. State St., was northbound in the 200 block of South Center Street when it began to drift west into the southbound lane, struck the sidewalk curb on the west side of the street directly in front of Thompson True Value, struck a No Parking sign dragging it until in front of the First Presbyterian Church and came to a stop. Keeler was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries. Damage to the Keeler car was estimated at $5,000 while the city parking sign received an estimated $100 in damage.
