Jim and Robin Anctil, of Marshalltown, announce the engagement of their son, Ryan, to Alanna Ulen, daughter of Gordon and Janet Ulen, of Peabody, Mass.

Ryan is a 2006 graduate of Marshalltown High School and a 2010 graduate of Drake University; he is currently employed as a Senior Logistics Specialist for The TJX Companies, Inc.

Alanna is a graduate of Syracuse University and works as an Event Planner for World Wildlife Fund.

A July 2017 wedding in Boston is planned.
