• David Gomez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. Gomez pleaded guilty to the driving under suspension charge and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due by May 1. Gomez pleaded not guilty to the no insurance charge and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on March 25 in Magistrate Court.
• Jose A. Cervantes Rodriguez made an initial appearance through a Spanish interpreter on a failure to appear for a sentencing hearing. Aron Vaughn will continue as counsel. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 26. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.
• Jeremy Lee Burnett made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 4. Burnett was released on his promise to appear.
• Jesse Ceniceros made an initial appearance on a sex offender registry violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 21. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.
• Glenn Edward Menter made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Jeffrey Hazen is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Menter is being held without bond.
• Gerald Richard Van Noller made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a probation revocation hearing charge. Breanna Nelson will continue as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Van Noller remains in custody on a 30-day mittimus warrant.
• Gustavo Alonso Diaz Jr. made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 21. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
• Luke Dale Freland made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Freland pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due by April 1.
• Erik Gustavo Bedoy made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Bedoy pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75, due by June 1.
• Veronica Renderos De Jimenez made an initial appearance on a unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. De Jimenez pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due by April 1.
• Larry Robert Prusha failed to make an appearance on a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50.
