Arrests
• On Friday, Trent Gohring, 20, was arrested for possession of marijuana-first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• On Friday, Nathan Cuellar, 40, was arrested on a warrant.
• On Thursday, Joseph Witte, 34, was arrested on a warrant.
• On Thursday, Aaron Dolash, 40, was arrested on a warrant.

Accidents
• On Aug. 29, a car driven by Grant Lee Nason, 19, of Baxter, was northbound on Hart Avenue when a white-tailed deer entered the roadway and was struck. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Nason car was estimated at $3,500.

• Aaron Lee Dolash made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. Chris Clausen is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 in Magistrate Court.
• Yoney Sanchez Lopez made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order out of Polk County charge. Mark Olberding is appointed as counsel. A contempt hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 9. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Shelley Ann Jones made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 22. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Joseph Michael Witte made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 10. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.
• Nathan Wayne Cuellar made an initial appearance on two counts of a pre-trial release violation charge. Pre-trial release is revoked in both cases. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.
• Gustavo Adolfo Nava made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a stop sign charge, a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge and a no insurance-accident charge. Nava pleaded guilty to all charges. The fine on the stop sign charge is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the failure to stop charge is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75. The fine on the no insurance charge is $645 with a $96.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $796.75.
• Isreal Mendoza Garcia made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 in Magistrate Court.
• Ricardo Tavera Nunez made an initial appearance on a failure to display a registration plate charge and a driving on a suspended license — No SR-22. Tavera Nunez pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the registration plate charge is $30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50. The fine on the driving on a suspended license is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Mohrgan Sage Wells Marquez made an initial appearance on a fraudulent use of registration charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 in Magistrate Court.
