The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Sept. 1. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Richard Louis Sweet made an initial appearance on a failure to appear warrant for a contempt hearing. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Aug. 23. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.
• Paula S. Fleming made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Fleming pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Jaylei Kolb made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Kolb pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Izek Jonathan Wayne Menne made an initial appearance on a harassment-second degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. An arraignment hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Aug. 25.
