• Wayne Eugene Warnell made an initial appearance with counsel, Barry Kaplan, on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 12 in Magistrate Court. Kaplan entered a guilty plea for his client and requested a jury trial. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Juan Gerardo Hernandez made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed on the probation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 19 in Magistrate Court on the drug paraphernalia charge.
• Johnny Raymond Bolen made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Jacob Heard is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Bolen is being held without bond.

• Jairo Mora Ortiz made an initial appearance on an eluding charge, a possession of marijuana-first offense charge, an unsafe passing charge, five counts of a failure to obey a stop sign charge and 6 counts of a speeding charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Donald Paul Boucher made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing was set for 9:30 a.m. on May 17. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
