• Justin Lyle Lekin failed to appear on a public intoxication charge and the court found Lekin guilty. The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Matthew Allen Sumpter made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a driving under suspension charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.

• Keeley Sue Christine Weeks made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 16 in Magistrate Court.

• On Sunday, Sept. 15, Jairo Mora Ortiz, 19, was arrested for failure to yield upon entering a stop/yield intersection, driving while barred-habitual offender, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana-first offense.
