Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is waived. Bond is set at $15,000 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Daniel Dion Scates made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Scates is being held without bond.

• Jammar Dazmond Watkins made an initial appearance on a burglary-second degree charge and a theft-third degree charge. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 29. Bond is $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Emma Jean Sauerbry made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 29. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
