• Ricardo Palmarez Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Palmarez pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Amber Marie Baker made an initial appearance on two counts of a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and a keeping a vehicle or residence for the purposes of using or selling drugs charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 25. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Narissa Jo Banks made an initial appearance on two counts of a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Nov. 25. Banks is being held without bond.
• Steven James Hayden made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 6.
• Amber Lee Cervantes Arteaga made an initial appearance on three counts of a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. Cervantes Arteaga is being held without bond.
• Jacob Howard Peters made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge and a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 25. Bond is set at $3,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Samantha Lynn Villarreal made an initial appearance on a no insurance-accident charge, a leaving the scene of an accident charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 in Magistrate Court.
• Jaxson Alan Zielstorf made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Zielstorf pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Amelia Marie Robinson failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Edwin Prudencio Ibarra made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 20 in Magistrate Court.
• Jake Morgan Wallen made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 6.
