• Pedro Daniel Rangel made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Joel Waters will continue as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash in defendant’s name only.
• Thomas Daniel Sheets made an initial appearance on a controlled substance violation charge, a control of a firearm by felon charge and a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 25. Bond is set at $50,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
Sheets was also seen on a failure to appear for a sentencing hearing charge on a violation of a no-contact order out of Story County charge. The sentencing hearing is rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 22.
• Billy Bob James Versteegh made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-second degree charge and a burglary-third degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 25. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.
• Jayde John Winn Easton made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash in defendant’s name only.
• Kirsten Kay Bolle made an initial appearance on two counts of a failure to appear for pre-trial conference before a jury trial charge. The pre-trial conference will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond on the first charge is $2,000 cash in defendant’s name only and on the second is $3,000 cash or surety.
• Tesa Lynn Nichol made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 5. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Henry Cervantes made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct – fighting/violent behavior charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 in Magistrate Court.
• Marco Antonio Tapia made an initial appearance on a violation of a restricted license charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 in Magistrate Court.
• Jose Alfredo Carbajal Jr. made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. The no insurance charge was dismissed by the court with the assessment of $55 in court costs. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 in Magistrate Court for the driving under suspension charge.

• On Thursday, Nov. 14, Joni Chamberlin, 44, was arrested for theft-fifth degree-shoplifting.
• On Thursday, Nov. 14, Thomas Sheets, 38, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order, intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of a firearm or offensive weapon by a felon.
• On Thursday, Nov. 14, Matthew Robb, 45, was arrested for rabies vaccination violation.

• On Thursday, Nov. 14, Jacob Rowley, 31, was arrested for driving while license is denied or revoked and operation of a non-registered vehicle.
• On Thursday, Nov. 14, Kirsten Bolle, 36, was arrested on a warrant charging her with two counts of driving while barred-habitual offender.
