• Donald Ray Waltemeyer made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Waltemeyer pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25.
• Mario Alberto Gonzalez Lemus made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense charge. Jennifer Weaver is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 9. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
