• Jake Morgan Wallen made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. Wallen pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $630.

• Ian Jordan Keifer made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, a keeping a premises or vehicle for controlled substances charge and a child endangerment charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 22. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Craig Allen Bresnahan made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Christopher John Clark Sr. made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 in Magistrate Court.

• Caleb Stephen Gustafson made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a speeding charge. Benjamin Harris-Medina is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 22.

• Hilda Rocibel Angel Melendez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Olivia Renae Versteeg made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 18 in Magistrate Court.

• Jamie Deonte Wheat made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Wheat pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Gregory Renard Tuggle Jr. made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Mark Olberding is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 11 in Magistrate Court.

• On Sunday, Nov. 3, Ian Keifer, 39, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining house or vehicle and child endangerment-substantial risk.

• On Saturday, Nov. 2, Gaven Fry, 20, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Nov. 2, Jesse Hernandez, 28, was arrested for theft-third degree-enhanced, interference with official acts and on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Nov. 2, Cristina Toro-Demaravilla, 52, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.

• On Saturday, Nov. 2, Jorge Padron Pena, 50, was arrested for assault with intent to cause pain or injury.

Incidents

• On Tuesday, Oct. 29, a burglary of a motor vehicle was reported in the 2700 block of Garwin Road.

• On Tuesday, Oct. 29, a theft of a utility trailer valued at more than $5,400 was reported in the City of Gilman.

Arrests

• On Sunday, Nov. 3, Tanner Vinton, 39, was arrested on a warrant charging him with theft-third degree.

• On Sunday, Nov. 3, Steven Lund, 34, was arrested on a warrant charging him with violation or parole, no valid driver’s license, providing false identification information, failure to maintain control and no insurance-accident.

On Saturday, Nov. 2, Jeffery Heslop, 43, was arrested on a warrant charging him with three counts of theft-third degree and possession of marijuana-first offense.

• On Friday, Nov. 1, Charles Poafpybity, 50, was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of violation of probation.

Accidents

• On Monday, Oct. 28, an SUV driven by Marsha Lynne Ewoldt, 68, of Eldora, was southbound on Marsh Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway from the west ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Ewoldt SUV was estimated at $4,500.

• On Monday, Oct. 28, a car driven by Megan Marie Pudenz, 25, of Carroll, was northbound on Highway 30 at Durham Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Pudenz car was estimated at $5,000.
