• Brady James Black made an initial appearance on a new charge added with operating while under the influence-first offense charge. A plea hearing is set for 2 p.m. on Dec. 16.

• Jessica Jean Tinius made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for arraignment. The arraignment hearing will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Keiny Carreras Rodriguez made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an initial hearing on unauthorized use of a credit card charge, a theft-third degree charge and an identity theft charge. The preliminary hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Lavonne Clarice Jefferson made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Victor Manuel Gonzalez Jr. made an initial appearance on a operating a non-registered vehicle charge and a driving under suspension charge. Gonzalez pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the non-registered vehicle charge is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• On Wednesday, Dec. 4, David Propp, 57, was arreted for possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication-first offense and trespass-first offense.

• On Wednesday, Dec. 4, Mark Stichter, 70, was arrested for rabies vaccination violation.

• On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Keiny Carreras Rodriguez was arrested on a warrant charging him with credit card fraud, theft-third degree and forgery/identity theft.

Accidents

• On Tuesday, Dec. 3, an SUV driven by Cynthia Guadiana, 38, of Le Grand, was eastbound on Highway 30 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Guadiana SUV was estimated at $2,500.

• On Sunday, de. 1, an SUV driven by Matthew Connor Steen, 18, of Marshalltown, was traveling on Reed Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway from the east. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Steen SUV was estimated at $5,000.

• On Wednesday, Nov. 27, a pickup driven by Mikayla Dawn Martin, 21, of Montour, was northbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer causing front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Martin pickup was estimated at $2,000.

• On Thursday, Nov. 21, an SUV driven by Tabitha Ann Vanderhorst, 46, of Pella, was northbound on Highway 14 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Vanderhorst SUV was estimated at $7,000.
