• Douglas Francis Meyer Jr. made an initial appearance on a theft-first degree charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 30. Bond is $10,000 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Brenden Jacob Finders made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a failure to maintain control charge and a striking fixtures on a highway charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 30. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Jonathan Lee Robinson made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge, a trespass-first offense charge, an escape from custody charge and a sex offender registration violation second or subsequent offense charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel on all charges. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 15 2025, in Magistrate Court for the trespass charge. The preliminary hearing on the escape charge and the sex offender registry charge is set at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 20.

• Cora Marie Welstead made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment hearing will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.

• Jeffrey Alan Haskin made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-second degree charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 30. Bond is $5,000 cash or surety.

• Andrew Brasean Buchanan made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge and a voluntary absence from custody charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is $1,000 cash or surety. The preliminary hearing on the absence from custody is set at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 20. Buchanan is being held without bond.

• Austin Eric Lowell made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and a driving under suspension charge. Jennifer Weaver is appointed as counsel on the possession charge. The preliminary hearing is at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 30. Bond is set at $7,500 cash in defendant’s name only. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
