A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

Arrests

• On Tuesday, Jan. 21, Jason Smith, 45, was arrested for child endangerment-substantial risk, harassment-first degree-threaten forcible felony and domestic abuse assault-third or subsequent offense.

• On Tuesday, Jan. 21, David Hart, 54, was arrested for no insurance-accident, driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended and leaving the scene of an accident-vehicle damage only.

• On Tuesday, Jan. 21, Josephine Duenas, 57, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury-no intent.

Accidents

• On Wednesday, Jan. 14, an SUV driven by Grace Michelle Frost, 19, of Melbourne, was eastbound on Iowa Avenue West when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Frost SUV was estimated at $7,500.
