• Ian Jordan Keifer made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference ahead of a jury trial charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 28 with the jury trial rescheduled for 9 a.m. on March 13. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Ashley Noel Gaines made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearings are set for 11 a.m. on March 5. Gaines is being held without bond.

• Luke Paul Schmidt made an initial appearance on a dominion/control of a weapon by a felon charge, an assault with a weapon charge and a domestic abuse assault with a weapon charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 3. Bond is set at $7,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• On Wednesday, Jan. 22, Luke Schmidt, 43, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse assault-first offense/with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm or offensive weapon by a felon.

• On Wednesday, Jan. 22, Ashley Gaines, 34, was arrested on a warrant charging her with two counts of violation of probation.
