• Michaele Sheren Tuka made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge and a driving while revoked charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 14. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Austin Jesus Sanchez made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-second offense charge, a person ineligible to carry a weapon charge and a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
