• Alieski Perez Hernandez made an initial appearance on an identity theft charge and a theft-third degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 13. Bond is set at $5,000 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Roger Evans Walker made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Pre-trial release is revoked. Bond is set at $2,000 in defendant’s name only. The District Associate Court will schedule the next court hearing.

• Jared Todd Nemmers made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing is set at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 12. Nemmers is being held without bond.

• Trisha Marie Ceballos made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Ceballos pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Emy Christine Shepard Woodson made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 23.

• Steven James Hayden made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Jan. 15.

• Javier Karim Garcia Garcia made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a speeding charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 13. Bond is set at $12,500 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Nicole Eleanor Murphy made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Murphy pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $635.

• Michael Foster Whiddon made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a no insurance charge, a driving under suspension charge and a passing contrary to highway markings or signs charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 23.

• Rogelio Sanchez Sanchez made an initial appearance on a dark window or windshield charge. Sanchez Sanchez pleaded guilty and the fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• David Propp made an initial appearance on a trespass charge. Propp pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $630.

• On Thursday, Jan. 2, Felipe Ramirez-Alvizu, 38, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.

• On Thursday, Jan. 2, Austin Burke, 20, was arrested for theft-fifth degree-shoplifting and possession/purchase of alcohol by person 18/19/20-first offense.

• On Thursday, Jan. 2, Alieski Perez Hernandez, 38, was arrested for theft-third degree and forgery-identity theft under $1,500.

Accidents

• On Monday, Dec. 30, a car driven by Shawna Michelle Barnett, 51, of Des Moines, was northbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway resulting in moderate front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Barnett car was estimated at $5,500.

• On Sunday, Dec. 29, an SUV driven by Floyd Douglas Campbell, 49, of Kellogg, was southbound on Reed Avenue near 265th Street when it struck a deer sustaining heavy front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Campbell SUV was estimated at $5,000.

• On Tuesday, Dec. 17, a car driven by Reynaldo Pedro-Landa, 44, of Toledo, was westbound on 240th Street when it struck a deer that entered the traveled portion of the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Pedro-Landa car was estimated at $5,000.
