• Alexis Christian Fernandez Ibarra made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on March 10. Fernandez Ibarra is being held without bond.

• Sierra Ann Price made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Feb. 28. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Sean Patrick Woodard made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-third or subsequent offense charge. Jennifer Weaver is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 24. Bond is set at $5,000 cash in defendant’s name only. A no-contact order is issued for the protected party.

• Michael Andrew Rangel made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Feb. 28. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.

• Miguel Angel Sanchez Sanchez made an initial appearance on a drivin under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 12 in Magistrate Court.

• Salvador Garcia Vasquez made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge and an operating a non-registered vehicle charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 4.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Refugio Gonzalez, 30, was arrested for sex offender registry violation-first offense.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Sean Woodard, 42, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-third or subsequent offense.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Alexis Fernandez-Ibarra, 21, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Sierra Price, 30, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Connor Jessen, 22, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Dakota Plante, 26, was arrested on a mittimus warrant for a operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Michael Rangel, 25, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of marijuana-first offense.

Accidents

• On Friday, Feb. 7, an SUV driven by Joshua Edward Capalla, 40, of Marshalltown, was northbound on Reed Avenue when it struck a deer that exited the east ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Capalla SUV was estimated at $10,000.

• On Tuesday, Jan. 28, an SUV driven by Kristi Jo Myers, 47, of Union, was southbound on Main Street Road struck a deer resulting functional front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Myers SUV was estimated at $1,700.
