• Jessica Lee Hill made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 19. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• David Sanchez made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Jammar Dazmond Watkins made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Julia Cutler is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Watkins is being held without bond.
• Amy Therese Morrison made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Dusty Clements remains as counsel. A written admission of contempt was entered and rights were waived. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.
• A 16-year-old male made an initial appearance on two curfew violation charges. The juvenile pleaded guilty to both charges and the fines were $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75 on each charge.
• Derek Alan Warnell made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Warnell pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Darlene Evonne Wolf made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Wolf pleaded guilty and the fine is $345 with a $51.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $456.75.
• Cristal Corona made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 26 in Magisrate Court.

• On Thursday, Feb. 27, Amy Dodd, 54, was arrested for possession of marijuana-third or subsequent offense, possession of contraband in a correctional facility-no weapon and possession of marijuana-first offense.
• On Thursday, Feb. 27, Jessica Hill, 42, was arrested on a warrant charging her with operating while under the influence-first offense, driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway and no insurance-accident.
Accidents
• On Tuesday, Feb. 25, an SUV driven by Ashley Lorraine Kuker, 36, of Fort Dodge, was westbound on Summit Road when it struck a deer that jumped onto the roadway from the north ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Kuker SUV was estimated at $5,000.
