• Trequan Merez Cosgrove made an initial appearance on a sex abuse-second degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 21. Bond is set at $100,000 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Bianca Ulanda McKinney made an initial appearance on an unauthorized use of a credit card charge, an identity theft charge, two counts of a theft-first degree charge, a forgery charge and a tampering with records charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 21. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. Bond is set at $25,000 cash in defendant’s name only.

• Yendry Dieguez Leyva made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a driving under suspension charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 1.

• Heidi Kim Steffens made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge. Steffens pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Damien Lee Rodriguez made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 1. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Clarissa Denette Little made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 30 in Magistrate Court.

• Heather Marie Elaine Castell made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge. Castell pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
