• Ronnie Joe Menter made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 28 in Magistrate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

• Marc Christopher Plettenberg made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 24.

• Ramiro Castruita Valdez made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. Castruita Valdez pleaded guilty to all charges. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the speeding charge is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $175.75. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Alejandro Montes Melendez made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 5.
