The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 2. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Kenneth Charles Filbrandt made an initial appearance on an assault-intended to cause pain or injury charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 21 in Magistrate Court.

• Twyla Roxanne Kapayou made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel on the probation violation. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11 a.m. on June 11. Kapayou is being held without bond.

A pre-trial conference is set for the paraphernalia charge at 9:30 a.m. on May 28 in Magistrate Court.

• Ryan Bennett Peak made an initial appearance on a violation of parole charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge.
